Opera in four acts (Surtitled in Catalan).
Libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte, based on the play La folle journée, ou Le mariage de Figaro by Pierre Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais.
This opera premiered at the Burgtheater in Vienna on May 1, 1786. Its debut in Catalonia was at the Gran Teatre del Liceu on February 2, 1916.
